Hey there, it’s Dennis.

In today’s issue:

  • Why adults stop playing and being spontaneous

  • How productivity culture disconnects people from joy

  • Why play is important for emotional wellness and creativity

  • Simple ways to reconnect with fun and curiosity

  • How Tiger Tamer’s and PlayWorks help people feel alive again

Somewhere Along the Way, We Forgot How to Play

We become Productive… Responsible… Efficient… Busy.

We learn how to manage stress, deadlines, expectations, and appearances. But somewhere in the middle of all that, many of us lose touch with curiosity, spontaneity, creativity, and joy.

We stop trying things we might be bad at.
We stop being silly.
We stop taking risks unless there’s a guaranteed outcome.

And honestly? That kind of survival mode changes people.

One of the things I’ve seen through Tiger Tamer’s is this:

People don’t just need motivation.
They need experiences that reconnect them to their authentic self.

Sometimes growth looks like walking across fire.
Sometimes it looks like laughing until your guard comes down.
Sometimes it’s simply allowing yourself to be fully present again.

Play isn’t childish.
It’s human.

And when adults reconnect with play, movement, challenge, creativity, and community, something starts waking up inside them.

This week, we challenge you to do one thing for absolutely no productive reason.

Dance badly.
Create something messy.
Take the long route home.
Laugh louder than usual.
Say yes to something spontaneous.

Not because it accomplishes anything.

Because you deserve moments where you feel alive instead of just functional.

🎭 Play Prompt:
What did you love doing before you cared what people thought?

This is exactly why I built PlayWorks.

PlayWorks is a structured experiential learning community designed for adults who want consistent clarity and forward momentum. Through intentional play, movement-based learning, and guided reflection, members build creativity, communication skills, and practical next steps they can apply immediately.

It is not a seminar. It is not passive learning. PlayWorks begins by breaking patterns — using movement and playful interaction to wake up focus, lower resistance, and shift you out of your head. From there we engage, reflect, and you leave with a clear and grounded commitment that feels realistic and ready to move.

Until next time,

I’m goin out to play.

P.S. If this issue made you smile, forward it to someone who needs to laugh through something this week.

Quote of The Week:

"The human race has only one truly effective weapon, and that is laughter." — Mark Twain

Have you ever noticed that voice that reverberates in your head the minute you consider a new experience or an action to make your dreams a reality? The one that seems to whisper “You’re not ready” or shouts “What if you fail?”

That is the Tiger that I refer to is fear and self-doubt dressed up as protection, convincing us to stay safe instead of stepping forward and growing. The Tiger is loud, convincing and relentless, but here’s the truth: it only has the power we give it.

Every time you step forward in spite of that roar, you weaken its grip and strengthen your own. That is what Tiger Letters are all about, sharing knowledge, experience, fears and inner strength to make your dreams a reality.

So, the next time your Tiger ROARS, smile at it, step forward reclaiming your power and break through the fear barrier into your growth zone.

Before you go, here is ONE way you can work with me.

Until next time!
